Sadly, the Hip-Hop community has lost yet another young black man. New Orleans rapper Young Greatness, was murdered early Monday, October 29, 2018 in the parking lot of a Waffle House while FaceTiming with his manager. There are no details regarding suspects or a motive at this time.
Greatness is best known for his 2015 single “Moolah“, which peaked at number 85 on the BillboardHot 100 chart. In March 2016, Rolling Stone included Greatness in their list of “10 New Artists You Need to Know“.
Unfortunately Young Greatness’ life and budding music career was cut short by senseless gun violence. Our prayers go out to his family, friends and loved ones.
