ShuBangaShow had the awesome opportunity to chop it up with legendary emcee, KRAYZIE BONE, of BONE THUGS-N-HARMONY, and super-producer NOMAD about the single, “POWER IN THE NAME“, by DIONNE WARWICK that they’re featured on.
The song started out on the soundtrack of 2017 film “LET THERE BE LIGHT“, the story of an atheist who goes through a near-death experience in a car accident before converting to Christianity, and it took on a life of it’s own from there.
MS. WARWICK’s beautiful voice blankets the spiritual track with soul while KRAYZIE BONE’s raps and NOMAD’s melodies add to the harmony. The song offers listeners a powerful message about holding on to hope and recognizing that there is power in the name of JESUS, something we need much more of during these trying times. Proceeds from the song are being donated to charities that support the homeless.
